I am Annetta Snider the founder of from acorns.

I have have founded, grown and sold a number of business over the last 30 years. These businesses included an award winning telemarketing agency, an e-commerce site and a full marketing agency. I use my skills, business knowledge and expertise in people management and sales & marketing specifically to aid owners in the fulfilment of building a successful business.
Over the last 4 years I have been working with a number of start ups and young business offering a practical alternative to traditional consultancy and business coaching.

I am currently working with InnovationRCA - the incubation division at the Royal College of Art as their Entrepreneur in Residence.
my story
I have had an interesting and varied career. I started my work life in the nursing profession! However, for the last 30 years my work has revolved around business ownership, sales & marketing and the training, motivating and building of teams.
After starting a family I became involved in the direct sales of perfume and body products, managing a team of 300 agents, with work focusing on sales, motivation & running training events! In the early 90s I started my first business Base Connections, a telemarketing agency, the business saw huge growth and became an award winning outsourced call centre employing 75 agents and specialising in outbound services for predominantly IT, finance & service businesses. The Company was successfully sold after 14 years.
In the the noughties I launched a lifestyle e-commerce website selling interesting and unusual gifts gaining much insight into purchasing beautiful items, PR and SEO! More recently I started an Account Based Marketing Company which merged with Punch B2B realising my shares.
In the last few years I have been working with start-ups and small businesses providing support and consultancy in a number of key business areas.
I currently work part-time as an Entrepreneur in Residence for the Royal College of Art.
