For some people expressing their feelings comes naturally, easily, in conversation with those close to them, and even with casual acquaintances.
For me it has never been like that. I find it hard to know what I am feeling most of the time; and when I do recognise my feelings, expressing them in words is often clumsy, and fails to share what is on my heart.
In poetry I have found a vehicle to more meaningfully communicate that heart. My poems are intensely personal, based on sights and experiences which have touched me.
My hope is that, in them, you might find something that touches you too, and perhaps causes you to see things differently.
