Our bright and sunny, south facing apartment situated in Corstorphine, is approximately 3 miles from the centre of Historic Edinburgh. Built in the 1902 (as engraved on the building) this apartment is part of one of the smaller Scottish, stone built, tenement blocks. Whilst built in 1902, a modern apartment with full double glazing, gas central heating and radiators in every room awaits guests.  Located on the first floor, the apartment has been fully refurbished (in 2005) and decorated to a high standard. The south facing aspect of the Sitting Room with its sofas and easy chairs and views over the local park towards the Pentland Hills provides a relaxing environment - ideal after a hard day sightseeing view details	Our bright and stylish corner property is situated in Roseburn, approximately 1/2 mile from the centre of Historic Edinburgh.  This lovely first floor flat, which is accessed  via a secure entryphone system, has been recently refurbished and decorated to a high standard.  The property was built in the late 1890's and is part of one of Edinburgh's stone built tenement blocks. Located one street back from the main thoroughfare into Edinburgh from the West, the flat is an easy walk or bus ride to the city centre for most of Edinburgh's historic and Festival venues. view details

Our two delightful first floor apartments offer guests the wonderful combination of quality self catering accommodation set within  traditional Edinburgh Tenement buildings with all the character and history they invoke.  Naturally each apartment and location offers something different, so please click on a photo to see details of each apartment and it's immediate surroundings.

However the following information is true of both.

Easy City Access

The apartments are situated one street back from one of the best bus routes in Edinburgh.  Lothian buses operate daily from 6am until after 11pm and during the day buses run approximately every 6 minutes. Daily tickets are available and after 9.30am the price for adult tickets is reduced.   Full details of bus numbers, routes and prices, together with the attractions they serve are provided in the apartments. (These are not listed here as prices and routes occasionally change.)

Free Parking

Both apartments offer tariff-free parking; our apartment at Roseburn has on-street parking while the apartment at Corstorphine has off-street parking behind the apartment building.  In both locations however, guests are highly recommended to leave their cars at the property if they are visiting the city centre; where parking is both limited and very expensive.  A Parking Fine will cost about £30, and release of a vehicle, if you are towed, is in excess of £100.

Lots to Do

We provide a range of up-todate tourist information but please feel free to ask about any specific areas of interest - we will do our best to help.  If you find a treasure that we have not discovered please let us know or leave a message in our visitors book.

For those who wish an active holiday; cycling, golf, mountain biking, ice skating, swimming, rugby and sailing are all within 10 miles of both apartments.  However, for that quiet night in (or morning/afternoon) we provide a range of books for all ages, together with jigsaws and games.

PLEASE REMEMBER

Both apartments are on the first floor in each apartment block and we would ask for consideration from guests with regard to noise later in the evening and early in the morning.  The stairs to the apartments are relatively easy but these may be a consideration for anybody with impaired mobility.  Due to the internal layout of both apartments, neither is suitable for guests who require the use of a wheelchair.

One final point for all guests, in order to maintain our standards and keep the apartments fresh we operate a Strictly NO Smoking Policy and likewise are unable to accept pets.
