The lodge lies adjacent to the ancient woodland of Anagach with beautiful woodland walks down to the magnificent River Spey. Deer, red squirrels, bird life and fauna abound. This part of the Cairngorm National Park hosts every type of outdoor recreation, walking, fishing climbing, skiing, quad & mountain biking. If you prefer a relaxed stay, Grantown has many individual shops, a local pottery, a museum and plenty of welcoming places to eat and forms a central base for exploring the Highlands, Whisky Trail, sandy beaches to the north, along the Moray Firth coast and the cultural city of Inverness.
