Welcome to St Edmund’s website…

We hope you find the information you are looking for, and we look forward to meeting you in person.

Whether you are looking to celebrate a special event, to give thanks for a great joy, or seeking support at a difficult time, we hope and pray that you will feel God’s loving welcome and peace.

We know that walking into a place you haven’t visited before, or perhaps for a long time, can be daunting, but please don’t be shy, we love meeting new people as well as seeing old friends.

Food Banks

Working with the charity Eat or Heat, St Edmund’s and other churches across Chingford run a local food bank, based at South Chingford Congregational Church. If you need help, find out more about how the referral process works here.

Additionally, St Edmund’s also runs an Animal Food Bank providing free pet food for those who have been referred to the local food bank. Donations of pet food are always welcome, for details please email us or bring items to the church on Saturday mornings 10.00-11.00.
