We’re pleased to announce Bread and Water for Africa (BWA), an 18-year-old charity with educational programmes across Africa are becoming part of Street Child, effective from 1st April 2022. Recently BWA have focussed on work in Sierra Leone, Burundi and Kenya, raising over £1m in the last four years.

Tom Dannatt, CEO and Founder of Street Child said “We are delighted to welcome BWA into Street Child. Whilst we are different in scale, BWA is a charity with very similar values and ethos to Street Child; putting communities and local NGOs at the heart of everything they do. BWA have been working with local partners to transform lives with education, nutrition and livelihoods programmes. We will achieve more together”
