Nick's Canal Route Planner — CanalPlanAC -

is an interactive guide to the inland waterways of Europe, it helps you plan your journey or holiday, calculates the length (distance, number of locks, time taken etc) of your trip and shows gazetteer information on places along the way (pubs, shops etc). It has an extensive collection of waterway photographs. If you have never used the software before, I recommend that you read the introduction before going any further.

To report a bug, request a new feature or make any other suggestion use the Bugs & ideas item in the menu (you will need an account on this site to use it).

This is the static index page, which is displayed if you don't have Javascript turned on. Javascript is used all over the place in this version of CanalPlanAC and you are likely to find it very painful to use without it (for example you will not be able to change any preferences). Nevertheless, basic planning should be possible and the links have been left in place for that reason. But if you have any option to turn Javascript on I recommend you take it for this site
