  • Playa La Barqueta (Las Olas)

    Only 15 miles from the city of David, Playa La Barqueta is a 16 mile long grey sand beach that has the center part ( 3.5 miles long) is well planed and well developed. It consists in the middle of a hotel 2 condos and a public beach with local restaurants and 2 gated communities on each side. The east side is an exclusive 20 lot development called Villas Las Olas and the east side is called Barqueta Nice and includes 175 beachfront 1/4 acre lots. Playa La Barqueta is 30 minutes from the city of David. David is Panama's the second largest city outside Panama City Metro. There is an international airport and 2 private hospitals all the stores you need and even a Costco! Playa La Barqueta has strong waves at high tide but is also in a Tsunami protected area and never has surges. And like all Panama, is hurricane free!

  • Boca Chica

    Boca Chica is a tiny traditional fishermen village but it's the gateway the pristine archipelago of the Golfo de Chiriqui with its hundred islands. It has a marina and it's the perfect playground for island hopping, scuba diving and snorkelling in coral reefs with tropical fish, whale watching and sport fishing, actually one of the best places in the world. Most islands are uninhabited and you can find deserted white sand beaches. Other islands have eco-resorts, fishing lodges and private homes. Inland, Boca Chica is very unique by the diversity of its topography which is composed of many small hills offering incredible ocean views and vistas to the mountains and the majestic Volcan Baru, the highest peak in Panama ( 11,400 ft elev.) There are a few beaches around Boca Chica. Many expats have built their dream homes in the Boca Chica area, which includes Playa Hermosa, Playa Rincon, Punta Bejuco, Playa Grande and the nearby islands of Boca Brava and Isla Palenque. Boca Chica is 1 hour from the city of David. (37 miles / 60 km) David is Panama's the second largest city outside Panama City Metro. There is an international airport and 2 private hospitals all the stores you need and even a Costco!

  • Playa Las Lajas

    Playa Las Lajas is one of the most famous but unspoiled beaches of Panama on the Pacific. You can walk along this sandy beach for miles and play in the warm inviting water and relax below a palm tree. This 8 mile long beach has fine golden brown sand and a very gentle slope, making it very safe with gentle waves and no rip tides or undertow. There are no sharks or stingrays neither. Playa Las Lajas is in a tsunami protected area ( there are not even surges there!) and like all Panama, it's a hurricane free zone. The Las Lajas Beach is at the end of a beautiful road off the Panamerican 4 lane Highway. It's quite picturesque. There are many expats from North America and Europe. There is a low density of houses and businesses. There are 5 miles of pristine beach. The village of Las Lajas is 10 minutes up the road , by the highway, and it's very quaint. There are quite a few Italian and German families there who have the best restaurant of the region. There is also a police station, regional hospital, a private clinic and many general stores. Playa Las Lajas is 1 hour from the city of David. (54 miles) David is Panama's the second largest city outside Panama City Metro. There is an international airport and 2 private hospitals all the stores you need and even a Costco!
