I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 years experience. I perform a full range of Orthopaedic and Trauma operations including Hip and Knee Replacement. I have specialist interests in Foot and Ankle surgery, Complex Trauma problems, Fracture Healing Problems and Limb Reconstruction.
I am performing several specialist, non surgical treatments to benefit my patients affected with difficult conditions. These treatments are only available from a hand full of specialists in the UK.
Shockwave Therapy is used for chronic tendon problems such as Achilles Tendonitis, Plantar Fasciitis and Tennis Elbow.
I treat patients who have experienced failure of bone healing with low intensity pulsed ultrasound from the Exogen device. This will stimulate healing in unhealed fractures and Orthopaedic bone procedures without having to resort to further surgery.
