Eurostar
The Eurostar is a high-speed passenger train that operates via the Channel Tunnel, run by SNCF France, SNCB Belgium & Eurostar UK Ltd since 1994. It travels at up to 186 mph.
Eurostar has calling points in London St Pancras, soon Stratford International, then Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International within Kent. There are Eurostar stops throughout France and Belgium.
The service is operated by the eighteen-carriage, class 373 trains which run at up to 300 kilometres per hour. In the UK the two-stage channel tunnel rail link project was completed on 14th November 2007, when the terminus of Eurostar from the Waterloo international to St Pancras.
