Welcome to the GGRA

As a non-party-political body, we were set up in 1979 to represent and serve local residents. Advising and helping people directly, we can often provide a solution to problems through our network of contacts with ward councillors, OMBC and other agencies. In recent years we have acted not just as a lobby group for our area, but our members have also set up various environmental projects and initiatives, e.g. Street Scene Greenfield, Love Lydgate, Wild About Here, canal-side repairs and the Tree Watch group.
