OUR AIM

Our aim is to create a stable and secure organisation, that continues to produce a high-quality service delivered by a team of competent, trained, knowledgeable, and dedicated people. These services will be underpinned by a clear business model fit for the current funding environment.

MAIN focus on the following key activities:

  • Complete the BIG build.
  • Maximising income from core services by expanding provisions, new geographical areas and developing our service offer for adults.
  • Enhance and develop our training and education offer by; delivering workshops, providing non/accredited qualifications to parents, professionals, and individuals; and securing large contracts with public and private sector employers.
  • To improve our capacity and capability to generate income by securing grants and raising money via corporate, community and individual donations.
  • To create a stable and secure working environment that emanates a high level of staff satisfaction and loyalty, MAIN work with an external Human Resource to ensure a transparent and unbiased support service for staff.
  • Funding is required to complete the refurbishment of the building, which is currently only a quarter operational. The plan is to have the unused portion of the building refurbished, enabling MAIN to develop our offer to the community by opening our ‘Youth Zone’.
  • The community surrounding MAIN is diverse, with high levels of unemployment, higher numbers of young people between 13 – 25-year-old not in employment, education, or training (NEET), by creating the Youth Zone, it is anticipated that this will become a hub for our disabled community and the wider community.
  • MAIN will align services to capitalise and maximise on need, working with our community and young people to promote inclusivity and encourage participation.
  • MAIN will unite our community, continuing to improve the health and wellbeing of our disabled community and the residents of North Ormesby and surrounding areas.
