Mustang Canyon
The Dallas-Fort Worth area is one of the largest water sports recreation markets in the country. Mustang Canyon offers the best possible site for holding events involving water skiing and wake boarding. This site is the only one in the area located so closely to hotels and urban area providing other entrainment for participants and spectators in the events. The excellent wind protection , the gradual slope of the shoreline, the investment in a world class ski jump and course by the ski team have created the optimum conditions for competitors. The slope of the hill from the shoreline to the top of the hill and the development of the grass on both sides of the site make an excellent natural stadium for large events. The addition of the road and parking on the north side has also created an ideal environment for televised events. All of these elements combine to make the Mustang Canyon Ski site an ideal location for any World Class Skiing or Wake boarding competitions. It is the goal of the Mustang Canyon Ski team to bring these events to Irving as well as continue to provide events for the hundreds of local skiers.
WE HAVE LOST OUR LEASE ON THE IRVING SITE. WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A NEW SITE. BUT, WE WILL BE FORCED TO CLOSE OUR DOORS SOON IF A DIFFERENT LOCATION IS NOT FOUND.
