Quickies

  • Heading off for #meatcrawl later this afternoon for meat at at least three locations so lunch needed to be light. Hence followed Abel & Cole's recipe for cumin-flavoured beetroot soup with a slice of sourdough from Brixton Farmers' Market. Except now I'm full.
  • Perfectly decent Turkish on Camberwell Church St for dinner with parents, now with a shisha bar upstairs it seems. Food is standard fare, generous, presented well, but real bonus is super-friendly service every time I've been, not to mention the compliments on my Turkish pronunciation :) FM Mangal, 54 Camberwell Church St, London SE5 8QZ
  • Well this was lunch today, some chorizo I bought in Santiago de Compostela fried up with some Jersey New Royals, fresh garlic and some roasted peppers. Missing some crusty bread, sadly.
