Oliver Payne FdA, BA(Hons), FRSA

Hi. I work with communication and behavioural science to understand perception, acquisition, conversion and retention for clients around the world.

I am an author and speaker, and wrote ‘Inspiring Sustainable Behaviour: 19 Ways To Ask For Change’ (Routledge) which wrangles together psychology, behavioural economics, and decision theory in a potent handbook for businesses and governments,. I write for newspapers and think tanks on behaviour, and I give interviews on behaviour and communication – recently on BBC Radio 4’s Thought Cages series in 2018 – and to give journalists background and quotes for articles.

I speak around the world on behavior change, including to serving soldiers at NATO in Latvia, keynote at the Institute of International and European Affairs on energy consumption, hosting panels at CloudExpo in London on AI and human resources, and many many more.

I am the founder of a behavioural insight & communication agency The Hunting Dynasty working with government, business, and third sector, and co-founder of The Other Half – a marketing agency working with behavioural foundation.

I am an ex Ogilvy and Saatchi & Saatchi advertising creative partner, winner of many of the world’s top advertising and behavioural awards, a judge of communication work for awards shows, and co-founder and host of the over 7 year old, 2,000+ member-strong London Behavioural Economics Network which meets regularly and has branches around the world.
