Welcome to Out To Swim!

Out To Swim is an aquatics club for adults based in London, Brighton and Bristol. Founded in 1992 by a small band of enterprising swimmers from the LGBTQ+ community, we offer a comprehensive programme for those wishing to enjoy swimming in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Most of our members are LGBTQ+, but we welcome all allied adults with an interest in aquatic sport, including those with disabilities. At the core of our team is equal respect and equality, irrespective of any difference in age, sexual orientation, gender, faith, ethnic origin, nationality, or any other grounds.

We offer participation in swimming, lessons, open water, water polo and artistic swimming, all taught by our dedicated team of experienced coaches and teachers. Although entirely optional, many of our members enjoy competing in tournaments all around the world!

Whether you are looking to swim socially, just starting out or fancy your hand at competition, we provide a comprehensive and inclusive program to help you find your feet.
