National Stalking Awareness Week 22 – 26 April 2024
Join Forces Against Stalking
Protection Against Stalking (PAS) is committed to improving support for victims of stalking from the time they disclose through to conviction and beyond.
Join PAS to ensure victims receive the support and outcome they deserve.
Only 1.7% of cases ended in a successful prosecution in the year ending March 2023
Why are there so few convictions for stalking?
Why are victims of stalking falling through the net of the Criminal Justice System?
Why is Stalking behaviour not recognised?
It is a pattern of fixated and obsessive behaviour, which is repeated, persistent, unwanted, intrusive and causes distress in the victim.
SPOT THE SIGNS
Is someone constantly….
- pestering you; calling or messaging you, sending unwanted gifts?
- following you, or turning up at your place of work?
- driving past your home?
- someone creates multiple social media profiles
This could be STALKING
Stalking is an insidious and psychological crime.

The PAS Team is made up of volunteers (14) and staff (3.5 FTE) without whom, none of this would be possible. They are incredible in all senses of the term and worthy of every accolade.
Protection Against Stalking and The Cyber Helpline unite to provide victims of cyberstalking with personal advice about how to stay safe online.
