“Dympna and Doreen were amazing, supportive and knowledgeable and showed great care in feeding back in a sensitive way that helped my learning. Karen was amazing too, I really valued her sense of humour and expertise.”

Janet O Connell

“The Holistic Massage course has been absolutely life changing for me. It feels like I have been helped to discover that thing I was always meant to do. The teaching methods made learning really fun and I often felt that the questions were put in such a way that the answers came from us, without much effort. It is such a skill to enable students in that way. I felt that everyone was valued and no question ever felt too silly to ask. There was always a considered and knowledgeable answer, which truly demonstrated to me the enthusiasm and commitment of the tutors, who have obviously lots of experience and keep themselves updated and motivated. I knew that I could ask for help and it was always there. Email support was available and any niggly questions were responded to quickly, often with a smiley attached…what more could anyone ask for. A real positive vibe and energy was created throughout the course.”

The 6 top questions people ask us

Can I visit the school before enrolling?

Yes, you’re very welcome to visit us to see the venue, have a look at course materials, chat to the tutors and the students and even view a class in action. This can easily be arranged, just get in touch with us to arrange a suitable time/date.

Will I be able to practise professionally by attending one of your courses?

Yes, all the diploma courses lead to a professional qualification. On successful completion of the course, written and practical exams, you’ll be able to get professional indemnity and public liability insurance, which enables you to practise professionally.

Where could I get work after qualifying?

Most massage therapists choose to be self-employed, either on a part-time or a full-time basis. Some gain employed work in spas. Therapists work in complementary health clinics, physiotherapy/osteopathy/chiropractic practices, gyms/leisure centres, spas, hospitals, hospices, at their own home or visiting clients in their homes, or with sports teams/athletes. Many therapists choose to do a mixture of the above.

Can I pay for the tuition in instalments?

Yes, you can pay in instalments for the Diploma courses. There is a one-off admin fee of £10 for this. Once the enrolment fee has been paid, we suggest 3 monthly instalments for the remaining fees. If you need to spread the instalments further, then that’s fine. We can work out an instalment plan with you on an individual basis.

Do I need to provide my own equipment?

For the Thai massage course, you’ll need a comfortable mat and a couple of cushions to practise at home. For any of the other massage courses, it’s a good idea to get a massage table for your own and your clients’ comfort. You’ll also need oils to massage with, and towels. For the aromatherapy course, you’ll also need to get a range of essential oils for your home practice. For some of the exams you’ll need a uniform.

What do I need to bring to the course?

For most courses all you need to bring with you are two towels and a pen. After your booking has been made, we’ll send you a joining letter that will detail exactly what to bring with you.

Are the courses recognised?

Yes, all the diploma courses are accredited and recognised by relevant and notable examining bodies. The CPD workshops are worth 5 CPD points for each 1-day workshop.
