JAM on the Marsh VIRTUAL

From 11-25 September, experience a glittering array of works, premieres and outstanding exhibitions from JAM on the Marsh, for free.

Rebecca has a very special connection with JAM on the Marsh Festival which happens in Kent every July.

She is delighted to appear again, alongside her husband Julian Close as fellow soloist in the exciting new community oratorio, The Sky Engine. This remarkable new work was composed by Rick Peat with librettist Timothy Knapman; it was conducted by Michael Bawtree, narrated by Kudzanayi Chiwawa and had its world premiere on 14th July 2023 at St. Nicholas’ Church, New Romney. Its far reaching community remit involved children from local primary schools, musically prepared by Rebecca Lodge Birkebaek and Canterbury Boys Choir together with community orchestral players alongside The London Mozart Players, resulting in a very special and spirited performance.
