Sunset lies on the riverside of the river Brit in the heart of West Bay in a peaceful setting next to the harbour & all amenities. The current owner, Liz Hollingworth bought the chalet in 2004 and decided to redesign a dwelling that would give maximum benefit to the views surrounding it. The chalet is warm & cosy in cold weather and airy & cool in hot weather with the benefit of a patio and sliding doors.
The fields immediately behind the chalet are a home to many seabirds, wildfowl and migrating birds and are idyllic for birdwatchers in the spring and autumn. In the summer months of July and August the field is open to campers with a family run funfair for the children. Sunset also has the benefit of a small jetty so you can hire a rowing boat or bring your own dinghy and row out from your doorstep. If you love fishing then the river offers a variety of fish especially sea trout which make a lovely evening meal on the terrace. Next door to the chalet is the much acclaimed Riverside Restaurant offering superb fish as well as meat and exquisite desserts.
