Pat Marchant 1938 - 2024
20th May 2024 - We have just received the very sad news that Pat Marchant passed away early this morning. Pat had been a volunteer with Southern Golden Retriever Rescue joining soon after the charity was formed. Pat and her husband Peter introduced hundreds of dogs to new families and kept in touch with them over the years. Pat was always available at the end of the phone offering advice to owners about some tricky dog behaviour or comfort after a much loved companion had passed. They hung up their rescue leads in 2014.
