In 2000, since the acquisition and subsequent merger of the previously named Darron Oil Tools (in Aberdeen since 1986), Schoeller-Bleckmann Darron has expanded into new fields offering manufacturing and repair services not previously available in Aberdeen. SBD provides complete manufacturing, repair and maintenance services for an extensive range of drilling products utilised in the oil and gas sectors, particularly directional drilling. Included in the company's portfolio is the supply of non-magnetic drill string components and material used in directional drilling.

Services and Repair
BD service all API rotary connections under it's API Spec 7-1 license. In addition to API connections, SBD services many customer's proprietary connections.
Boring
We have our own in-house boring machine capable of boring a variety of sizes for our customers.
