The Missing Peace Trust Statement of Faith:

    • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
    • We believe in the absolute deity and full humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, the authenticity of His miracles. His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection and His present mediatorial work in heaven.
    • We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit. We believe He gives life, He sanctifies, He empowers and comfort all believers.
    • We believe that the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments in their original texts, are fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error, and are the final authority for the Church
    • We believe that man was originally created sinless. Tempted by Satan, man fell and thereby brought the whole race under the condemnation of eternal separation from God
    • We believe that man is saved through repentance and faith in the finished work of Christ. Justification is through grace alone.
    • We believe that the Church is the body of Jesus Christ composed of all true believers. The present work of the Church is the worship of God, the perfecting of the saints and the evangelisation of the world.
    • We believe in the personal and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to consummate our salvation and establish His glorious Kingdom.

Testimonial

It's always good to hear a testimonial:

Quote:

"Hi Mike, For some reason, you came into my mind today and after a quick search, I tracked you down thanks to the wonders of the internet. I thought I'd write and thank you for your part in leading me to Christ 45 years ago. I attended the Bristol Christ Youth Camps in the summers of 1977 and 1978, …… On 23 August 1977 you challenged me in the camp devotions and led me to a personal faith. I still have a copy of The Missing Peace that you gave me on that day. A year later I was baptised at Worcester Park Baptist Church and have continued in regular fellowship and Church involvement ever since. I am thrilled to know The Missing Peace is still available and used all over the world. I thank God for your faithfulness in sharing the Gospel and I pray that God will continue to bless your ministry. Best wishes Ruth C."

Missing Peace News

Tony Packer of Global Passion has arranged for 'The Missing Peace' to be translated and printed in Haryanvi, one of the languages of the North Indian state of Haryana where 13 million people speak this dialect. Haryana surrounds India’s capital, New Delhi on three sides, so it is a strategic area in which to preach the Gospel, currently only 0.2% of the population claim to be Christian in this area. The official language of Haryana is Hindi, which was printed last year, but it will be great to reach folk in their own tongue.

Punjabi is the next language The Missing Peace Trust will be translated to, this will be used in the north-western part of the subcontinent. We should remember that Punjabi is also the third-most spoken language in the UK. We praise the Lord that even in these unprecedented times, we can continue to share the Gospel in print and on the Internet.

Just had a great encouragement. A lady from Northern Ireland contacted the website and said that she came to faith in Christ at a Dick Saunders rally in 1979. She was given a copy of The Missing Peace which she read and re-read many times in her early days as a Christian. She is involved in a summer outreach mission in her town and as the booklet led her to the Lord many years ago she wants to share the gospel with her neighbours and friends. God bless your faith, Reta.
