Unusual high quality, very well made beech cramp. It seems to have a dovetail key to the top of it which would suggest to me it is a bench mounting for some kind of other tool. It came from a Watchmakers workshop so I assume something along those lines. Beautifully made.

Early Record of Sheffield No. 05 1/2 wide jack plane in very good condition for its age. It hasn't seen a great deal of use thus it still retains its almost full length original BEST CRUCIBLE CAST TUNGSTEN STEEL blade. Original beech handles with no damage and original transfer still on the top of the rear handle. Virtually all the original early blue finish remains inside. A real nice example.
