Almondbury Woolpack FC have three teams playing in the Huddersfield and District Association Football League. We formed in 2008, originally in the Kirklees Sunday League where we enjoyed mixed success! After establishing a core base of players, we made the move to Saturday football in 2012. Since then we won consecutive league titles and promotion from division 4 to division 2 in 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. Our reserve team was added in 2014-15 and gained promotion to reserve division 3 in it's first season, and then was promoted to reserve division 2 in 2019-20.

Since our 10 year anniversary, we have inducted 5 people into our hall of fame each season. These are players, coaches, and supporters, past and present, who have dedicated enough to the club that it deserved recognition for all time. The names of these legends will sit forever in the Woolpack, and regardless of where they end up, they will always be remembered.
