Meanie is a powerful muscle car, but he has a powerfully bad attitude to match…
The Blue Meanie is a tarmac-terrorising Boy Racer who learns that it takes a lot more than attitude to be the King when he finds himself competing at the drag strip. Can he take on the real racers at the track, or will he be able to cheat his way to the top? A bedtime story for petrolhead kids, written by Dave Smith and beautifully illustrated by Colin Hardy.

Dave
Dave is old enough to know better and lives in the Midlands of England. A car enthusiast since birth, he’s owned hundreds of vehicles, most of which were beyond any use at all. This led to a career in automotive journalism, working on titles such as Classic American magazine and American Car Magazine, leading to the Editor’s chair at Street Machine (UK).
Colin
Colin is a freelance artist, cartoonist and illustrator from South Wales. His superb car-based work can regularly be seen in Street Machine magazine, MOG magazine and Gasser magazine in America. He also creates graphics for clothing, and, in his spare time, can often be found up a tree reading a book.
