We are available for short breaks, long weekends and longer stays and offer the perfect location to relax and unwind and explore one of our countries best kept secrets; Somerset.

Perfect for nature lovers and walkers, this detached, eco-friendly lodge has a completely private hot tub and is situated in a rural position with outstanding views across the Somerset Levels. Benefitting from being on a south facing slope Rose Lodge is in a sheltered position, protected from most cold winds and both front and rear gardens are sun traps throughout the year.

The hot tub is heated by the biomass boiler, a renewable energy that is much more efficient than electric. This ensures the hot tub is always hot for your arrival, as it heats from cold in just 2 hours and even on the coldest evening the hot tub will stay hot no matter how long you stay in! unlike electrically heated hot tubs that cool down faster than they can heat in cold weather.

Rose Lodge is set on the edge of the owners’ grounds but gives you a completely separate, private space. The lodge has been lovingly converted from a former mobile home with cedar cladding, log burner and double glazing. After a day spent exploring this beautiful part of the country, you can relax in the private hot tub and unwind whilst savouring the outstanding view across the Somerset Levels. The hot tub is situated in the lodges back garden and is completely private and for your exclusive use during your stay and towelling robes and slippers are provided to enhance your hot tub experience. There are lovely country walks over rural footpaths straight from the door, fishing, golf and quaint village pubs nearby.

The Somerset Levels, with their abundance of wildlife and nature reserves, are on the doorstep, or you can explore the many other places of interest. Within easy driving distance are many historic houses such as Muchelney Abbey, Forde Abbey, and National Trust’s Montacute House and Tintinhull House.Try some retail therapy at the shopping outlet of Clarks Village; discover Glastonbury with its enchanting tor and abbey; or drive on to the cathedral city of Wells with its Bishops Palace and character shops. Further afield, the Roman spa town of Bath is well worth a visit, as well as the county town of Taunton, and further on, the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park. If you have time, spend a day or two in west Dorset and explore the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast. You will have much to do for a fulfilling holiday. Beach 22 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

• Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet

Back garden has a gravel seating area with gas BBQ and then steps up to a wild flower garden with patio seating area and hot tub. There are 6 steps from the gravel area up to the hot tub.

Heating and hot water is also from the Eco Biomass wood pellet boiler. Gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Logs for the log burner provided at a cost of £5 per basket. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer if needed (shared with owners). Private parking for 2 cars. No Smoking.
