I have known John for nine years, and I was his manager at Oracle for most of that time. John is an expert in design for e-commerce and customer service applications. He is both a user experience designer and a talented visual designer. In the recent past, he completed an enormous project that demonstrates proven best practices for every e-commerce storefront component.

John is one of those UX professionals who understands that UI design is part of UX but UX is a broader discipline. John was always able to take complex UX requirements and produce quality prototypes that invariably became the impetus for further improvements to the software. Anyone lucky enough to have John on their team will always have excellent UX design and a valuable advocate for the end-users of their software.

I worked with John at Oracle for two years, and I was his manager during the second year. During his time at Oracle, John showed that he can independently lead large, complex, high-profile projects. John led UX for one of the most ambitious and significant projects in our organization, and his designs received accolades from peers and management, alike.
