First off I would like to tell you what a great software DBFView is. I'm trying to convert a large dbase file into SQL Server and the dbf file is giving me a great deal of problems, and DBF Converter has allowed me to go in and find the records withproblems and fix them.

I am looking at your site concerning your software DBFView. We currently use Excel 2007 on XP operating systems. We save excel files as DBF IV format so that we can import them into other software that we use. Will this product work with Excel 007(. Xlsx)?

We were interested because our users needed something rapid to view dbf files and we did not want to use FoxPro. We had another utility that works on Windows 95 and NT but would not work on Windows 98. We tried using Excel but it would only read up to 65, 536 records and some of the files they look at are larger than that. I had looked at another dbfviewer but it did not have all the functionality that yours has.

We use Access 2000, and the export data from access to dBase destructs actually all file structures (thank you, guys from MS! ) of the DBase files in a manner that dBase doesn't recognize them as dBase files... I have to support an old Clipper/dBase based program. I was looking for a documentation program for dBase because we still use a Clipper compiled product that uses dBase files. Then I found Your product and thought i could see the structures of the files: I can! Excelent! I also can see the contents of the files even if the Access derived files have a mistake in the second byte (at least) of the exported files. And I can modify the contents of the fields. Even better!
