Download links for currently available Intel wireless drivers from Project Camphor are available here. All drivers are Airport compatible, so they work with OS X’s own wireless configuration GUI.
Install these kexts in your /System/Library/Extensions
folder (these will not work from /Extra or other bootloader kext locations). For Intel 3945 drivers, you need to install all 3 kexts.
Intel® PRO/Wireless® 2200BG
Best driver: Beta 05
- Supports 802.11b and 802.11g networks
- Supports open (no password) networks
- Supports WEP encrypted networks
- Does not support WPA
Intel® PRO/Wireless® 3945ABG
Best driver: Beta 06
- Supports 802.11b and 802.11g networks
- Supports open (no password) networks only
- Does not support WEP or WPA encrypted networks
Intel® PRO/Wireless 4-series, 5-series, 6-series and 1-series
Currently no drivers are available for these wireless cards.
