Jon Asher is a pianist vocalist (or "pianoentertainer" as he is known abroad) loosely based between his native Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, UK (where he sometimes performs) and Norway where he does most of his work, re-booked at the main conference hotels and tourist / ski resorts there. Established on the international piano bar circuit since 1988, Jon's CV features The Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort and The Emirates Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates and The Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel, Qatar, La Manga Club, Spain, Sao Brazil, Monte Carlo, Maxim's Piano Bar, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Hotel Europe, Davos - Platz, Switzerland, Swissotel Oerlikon, Zurich, Switzerland as well as countless bars, hotels and events in Sweden, Norway, France, The UK and Corfu as well as some contracts on the Color Line's MS Color Fantasy and the Silja Lines' MS Silja Symphony and MS Silja Serenade between Stockholm and Helsinki.

As a pianoentertainer, Jon runs venues' rooms on his own playing (all memorised, no sorting through sheet music in between songs) about 1 hour non-stop of cocktail music, 2 hours of "standards" and 2 hours of more contemporary repertoire with "playback" on mini disc IF REQUIRED. If you want a more "traditional" night of "pianoentertainment", Jon is quite happy to just sing and play the piano.

If you want a duo, trio or full band, Jon will hire in musicians and artistes as needed. Instead of hiring in DJs, Karaoke hosts etc., all with their own sound systems and lights, it makes more sense to source all entertainment though one entertainment co-ordinator.

It's normal for Jon to have bookings (especially outside of the UK) over a year in advance so if you have any events planned in the UK and want Jon to perform at or organise the entertainment for your event, please contact him as far in advance as possible, not least so he can book more cheaply flights for himself and any foreign artistes you might want at your event.
